     The human element in military archival documents is reduced to mere statistics, with no mention of the personal side of war—the suffering, the sacrifice, the scars, as well as the heroism of those men who made this history for our country.   From these decades-old Vietnam Era documents emerged names and faces, adding flesh and emotion to the "bare bones" of Vietnam War military history.   The pages of this book present the factual story of the 4^th Infantry Division Cambodian Incursion—not only the role of the 3-506^th, but the story behind each of the five other 4^th Infantry battalions and their support units--aviation, artillery, medical, engineers, and logistics--who participated in the campaign.
