| Gen. William Westmoreland
responding to Cpt. Robinson's briefing and the
outstanding job that the 3-506th did during the
TET Offensive. The 3-506th received the
Valorous Unit Award for its combat actions
during TET 1968. The Bn was written up for
the Presidential Unit Citation, but it was
downgraded to the VUA by unknown sources. |
