 Reunion Committees

*Committee Chairman (key contact person).  This is an early draft of the committees needed and those who have already volunteered to serve on them.  The list will evolve as we get closer to the reunion.  Please volunteer and help make this the best reunion yet.

Banquet Dinner Committee Duties:

• Correlate with hotel banquet facility at the Sands concerning menu options or the banquet night meal.
• Determine cost of meal (per person or per couple)
• Make up banquet tickets based on number attending
• Make sure all monies are accounted for and paid to hotel for banquet costs.

Reception Committee Duties:

• Greet those checking in for reunion.
• Have attendees sign in (to have an accurate list of those attending reunion).
• Give out nametags and banquet dinner tickets
• Pass out copies of reunion agenda and/or registration packets as people sign in.

Banquet Night Program Committee Duties:

• Help develop the overall banquet night program.
• Assist the MCs (Pony-tail Cauley and Dave Bentley) as needed
• Help insure that time allocations are adhered to

Memorial Night Program Committee Duties:

• Help develop the overall memorial night program.
• Assist the MC (Richard Pittman) as needed
• Help insure that time allocations are adhered to

Hospitality Room Committee Duties:

• Make available the snacks and beverages during hospitality room hours.
• Purchase snacks/beverages and have them available during hospitality room hours.
• Keep hospitality room tidy (other than the cleaning duties performed by hotel housekeeping)

Hospitality Room Bar Committee Duties 

• Serve as bartender.
• Make trips to the liquor store to purchase beverages for the bar
• Make sure there is an ample supply of ice and supplies on hand
• Collect money for beverages

Awards & Silent Auction Committee Duties:

• Help assemble and organize awards, plaques, etc.
• Assist in setting up tables and displaying items for silent auction.
• Make up bidding sheets for auction items.
• Be the contact person for anyone wishing to donate an item/items to silent auction.
• Distribute items to winning bidders and collect money.

Special Activities Committee Duties:

• Need volunteers to contact Reno Chamber of Commerce and Casinos/Restaurants free tickets, area sightseeing trips, local tours, etc..
• Put together registration packets.
• Etc.
